While celebrities may have a team of stylists and assistants who are constantly making sure their image is perfect, many are not above fears of common faux pas like bad breath. Take, for instance, Katy Perry.

She recently revealed in an interview with YouTube that she is constantly brushing her teeth because she afraid of walking around with bad breath.

"I'm really anal about that because I like good breath," she told the video site. "A turn off for me with guys is halitosis... I'm the kind of friend that's like, 'Stick a piece of gum in your mouth, 'cos I'm gonna save some friendships for you.'"

She added that she brushes at least three times each day after being inspired to good oral hygiene by Britney Spears. She said she used to watch the pop star growing up and was envious of her white teeth and bright smile.

While regular brushing may help prevent many of the conditions that lead to bad breath, investing in TheraBreath's line of specialty breath freshening products may help individuals who have more stubborn halitosis.
