You thought you had it bad at work. MSN New Zealand reports that crew members who work with actor Mickey Rourke admit to having to hold their breath around him because his is so bad. Along with strong body odor, Rourke evidently has very bad breath.
The news source said that multiple crew members have complained about the actors breath and body hygiene. Some theorized that Rourke may avoid deodorant or neglect his teeth, though they added that he is a talented actor and extremely kind to his co-workers.
halitosis can have multiple causes at work, and having a good personality does not necessarily encourage co-workers to look past oral odor. If you are nervous or stressed out on the job, your mouth can dry out. Without adequate saliva on the tongue and palate, bacteria can quickly multiply and give off a foul scent.
Likewise, savory or pungent foods can ruin breath. If you are fond of garlic, onions, leeks, cured meat or spices, you may be affronting the employees around you with some powerful halitosis.
Brushing and flossing may not totally eliminate oral odor. To neutralize it quickly and efficiently, individuals with halitosis may consider using a specialty breath freshening product that flushes away food particles and kills bacteria.
