Having chronic bad breath is something you don’t have to live with. Perhaps you’ve tried gargling with mouth wash everyday or you brush your teeth twice a day, but nothing seems to get rid of your bad breath. In this article we’ll share some of the bad breath remedies that have actually worked for many people. As we’ve talked before in previous posts, bad breath is caused by the bacteria that grow in your mouth, especially on your tongue. There are quite a few things that you can do to target the bacteria and prevent it from coming back. You don’t even have to spend a ton of money. TheraBreath - The Bad Breath Remedy Dr. Katz has spent many years developing products that don’t just mask the problem, but actually attack the root cause of bad breath - Volatile Sulfur Compounds, usually produced by anaerobic sulfur producing bacteria and of course, various stinky foods, such as onions and garlic. All you have to do is follow these five simple steps: STEP 1: Use a tongue scraper tool to clean the back of your tongue. A tongue cleaning tool can easily get rid of all the debris that grows on top of the tongue. Also, make sure to apply a little bit of TheraBreath toothpaste on the scraper and scrape as far back as you can at the back of your tongue. STEP 2: Use TheraBreath’s oxygenating toothpaste to brush your teeth. Not only should you brush your teeth, but make sure to also brush your tongue, the inside of your cheeks, and the roof of your mouth. The reason why TheraBreath’s toothpaste is best to use is because other toothpastes contain harsh chemicals like sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS). The ingredients used in many toothpastes today are known to cause damage to the tissue inside your mouth, which can lead to canker sores and other diseases. STEP 3: Gargle and rinse with TheraBreath’s Fresh Breath alcohol-free oral rinse. Avoid using mouthwashes that have alcohol in them because they simply mask the odor temporarily. Rinsing with a alcohol-based mouthwash dries out your mouth and can make halitosis even worse. STEP 4: Use TheraBreath’s throat spray to get rid of the bacteria in the deep recesses of the tongue and throat area. This is the area where the majority of the anaerobic bacteria are created. If you’re running short on time and can’t rinse or brush, you can simply spray your mouth. STEP 5: Chew TheraBreath’s gum which includes zinc gluconate and oxygenating compounds, plus it doesn’t contain sugar. Zinc gluconate is known to alleviate sour/bitter/metallic tastes while the oxygenating compounds are designed to neutralize the volatile sulphur compounds in your mouth, throat, and tonsils. It’s important to have good oral hygiene and to get into the habit of brushing and rinsing your mouth on a daily basis in order to freshen bad breath. If you follow any of the bad breath remedies outlined above, you will not have to worry about halitosis anymore!
